All of the stone, stucco and materials were provided by Brock White - Edmonton. Our own Rachel Curry was given an award from the County of Lac La Biche Town Council for her design and implimentation of the Donor Wall at Bold Centre. Rachel was asked by ATB Architects to submit a drawing which was presented along with those of other artists before a board and hers was the chosen one.
She has artistically implemented Country Black rundle, Natural Black Rundle stone and Acrylic stucco into a vision that has become the “Gathering Place” of this center. She went to the school and had the children sign their name on a stone and then each stone was placed into the feature. If you ever happen to be in Lac La Biche you must stop in at the Bold Center.
