PROJECT NOTES: Mountain Engineering specified Gravelpave from Invisible Structures to solve a space constraint issue in a residential development in Canmore. They were looking for alternatives to the standard ditch and culvert drainage system to deal with surface storm water and spring snow runoff. The particular street is narrow and street side parking would not have been possible with ditches in place. By using Gravelpave, residents and visitors can park their cars on an elongated shoulder in front of their homes, while storm water will be absorbed into the ground rather than running down the road. The installation was done by Bremner Engineering and Consulting, laying 350 square meters of Gravelpave in two days.
