AAA Lunch-Learn on Design Considerations -Edmonton

Brock White and The Alberta Masonry Council are pleased to co-host the AAA Accredited Lunch and Learn presentation by Dr. Mark Hagel: Design Considerations for Low to Mid-rise Multi-family Residential Buildings.
In light of several recent building envelope failures of low-rise multifamily residential buildings in Alberta, the course is designed to refresh the architect’s knowledge of building envelope design as it pertains to low to mid-rise multi-family residential building design and construction in Alberta. The course will identify common failture mchanisms and review effective detailing and design techniques to mitigate moisture intrusion and building envelope failture in this type of construction. A brief review of fire safety in this type of construction will also be presented.
The presentation will take place at Brock White Company - 12835 - 170th Street, Edmonton, AB T5V 1L8. Choose from two sessions: 10:30am - 11:30am or 2:00pm - 3:30pm. Refreshments will be provided.
