1136 Pacific Street
The view along Pacific Street in downtown Vancouver is now transformed with the bright white panels of Porcelanosa Facades exterior cladding. A ventilated facade is a cladding system with an air cushion or cavity immediately behind which provides drainage, ventilation, and a thermal solution. It is usually an external cladding system mechanically fastened or bonded to a framework fixed to the external wall of a new or existing building.
This downtown Vancouver 12 storey luxury apartment building was in need ot a retrofit. Porcelanosa was the product of choice for the architect, providing high technical performance characteristics. The Porcelanosa facades cladding system provides this building with excellent impact, scratch and UV resistance to withstand the variety of weather conditions experienced on the West Coast
