Aldergrove Border Crossing Upgrade features Tyndall Stone from Gillis Quarries
On April 14, 2014, the federal government announced an investment of $17.7 million for an upgraded Aldergrove border crossing. The announcement included an additional Primary Inspection Lane, a larger traveller processing facility, and a commercial examination warehouse, two new commercial lanes, five new traveller lanes with the ability to expand to eight in the future. The crossing is one of four major border entry points in the Fraser Valley.
Project Details
Brock White supplied a number of products in the project to replace the existing and aging Canadian Border Services Agency infrastructure at Aldergrove. Over 10,000 square feet of Tyndall stone - quarried in Manitoba - was supplied for the project with stunning results.
