"Building the nest” is the slogan of the Team involved in the construction of the 443 (Maritime Helicopter) Squadron Facility at North Saanich. The original 443 Maritime Squadron was formed during World War 2 and the Hanger used was constructed of wood in 1942. The new facility will land and house 7 helicopters and is being built on a suspended concrete slab on 1200 pilings socketed into bedrock. This project will be completed in the year 2014 for a contract value of $104,800,000.

Manson UMBI is used as primary insulation in exterior walls and standing seam roofing systems of pre-engineered metal buildings. It provides thermal, acoustical and condensation control in roofs and sidewalls.
