This project is on a main waterway run off for local Cranberry growers. Large amounts of water flow caused the road to flood over and take the bank with it. The Wood County Highway Department had installed rip rap in the past to hold the bank in place.

This had to be replaced about every three years to keep the road edge from falling into the water way, so Flexamat was chosen to replace the rip rap as a permanent erosion control solution. With the layout of the terrain, Flexamat was the best alternative for this project site.
